Membership
Membership costs £25 a year and runs from January to December and is open to both professional and amateur artists living in and around Islington. Members benefit from the opportunity to submit their works for our exhibitions, take part in occasional outings, visits to galleries and enjoy a special viewing at the Estorick Collection. These events also provide members the chance to get together with fellow artists.
Members receive newsletters and emails throughout the year which includes news of members’ activities and exhibitions, a gallery prompt, reviews of exhibitions and advance notice of the IAS exhibition dates and events.
The society is run by volunteers who welcome help with the organisation of events and the activities of the committee. All members who exhibit work are expected to help during exhibitions, especially with stewarding. If you are interested in joining the society please contact our membership secretary here. In addition please indicate the type of art you practice and any skills you can offer the society e.g. computing, hanging exhibitions, secretarial assistance, PR and advertising, organising art activities and storing equipment.
