In these strange times these are links to some remarkable galleries that are currently closed due to coronvirus, but who have made many fascinating works available for us to view online instead.

British Museum collection There are over 4,000,000 objects to see.

Courtauld Gallery - They have a specialist hour on Thursday nights on Zoom and other platforms.

Royal Academy – Includes links to previous art exhibitions in 2012 and 2016 which are the focus of a film on David Hockney here.

Tate Modern - Andy Warhol - Watch the curator’s tour and explore the exhibition room by room.

Tate Britain - Aubrey Beardsley – The exhibition tour on YouTube.

National Gallery - A lovely series of 10-minute videos where curators talk you through selected masterpieces.

National Portrait Gallery You can take a lovely virtual tour of the exhibits in each of the exhibitions on the ‘What’s On’ section of this page.

Hastings Contemporary Gallery This was originally designed to give access to less-abled users; there is a real person there, ready to stop the iPad-on-wheels from crashing into things.
